The meet was oversubscribed. COB were only able to offer some places in Event 9 (Girls 200m Backstroke) and Event 11 (Girls 200m Freestyle).
The names of the girls who wanted to swim these races were therefore put into a “virtual swimming hat” and drawn at random. The remaining girls have been scratched from the races, and we have asked COB to let us know if any further places become available in these events
