Julian, after many years of top quality coaching, has decided to pass on the role of lead for C squad to Ashley Barnett. Julian will however remain as an assistant coach, helping whenever possible.
We, as a club, would like to take this opportunity to thank Julian for all the hard work and dedication he has put into the club over the past years. Julian was a Soundwell swimmer himself and chair of the club for a time, during which he helped build the club, both in and out of the pool. Julian is a big character within the club and will be sorely missed as a lead coach by the swimmers, coaching staff and parents.
After assisting Julian for the past season Ashley has now taken control of C squads sessions. Ashley is a very experienced coach having been at the club for the past six years and has a very keen eye for talent identification and skill base.
