ASA SW Winter Meet Report

With five medals, twenty six PBs and four winter national qualifying times, the ASA SW regional short course meet was a huge success for Soundwell swimming club.  All who swam showed true class and form across the whole weekend.
The medals went to Jedd woodruff who came 2nd in the 100brs and 3rd in the 50brs, whilst achieving a national qualifying time and smashing his PB. Jack Placed 3rd in the 100 & 200bk achieving two national qualifying times. Jack also placed 3rd in the 400im missing his national qualifying time by under a second. Congratulations should also go out to Joel Williams also achieved a winter qualifying time in the 100im. A big well done should also go out to Anna Soteriou, who after only 10 weeks training just missed out on her national times for both the 50 and 100 fly and smashing nearly all her PBs.
Well done to Jack & Dan who became members of the 100% PB club.
All swimmers the swimmers have achieved a great deal of success over the last few weeks since the Gloucester open meet and showed that the hard work put into the training sessions will always show when racing. Yet again I find myself being very proud of what these young athletes have achieved.
