The Coaches
Head Coach: Matt Puddy joined the club in April 2009. Since his arrival the club has doubled its membership, won junior/senior leagues and gained promotion to the National Arena League Premier Division. He has produced numerous National finalists/medallists and several British Championship qualifiers. He has successfully placed 7 swimmers on English talent development programmes and received several teaching/coaching awards in recognition of his success. Most noteably:- 2007 Kellogg's ASA Swimtastic Teacher Award, 2010 ASA South West Advanced Coaching Offer and 2010 ASA Bespoke Leadership Training. Matt is a qualified club coach and in 2012 returned to education to study for a full BSc (Honours) Sports Coaching Degree.
